MSIS SPAM/VIRUS Filter
Notice to all MSIS email customers:
SPAM Filtering:
Currently, Our Barracuda (Spam Filter) is set at a level that
will effectively block 90% of email SPAM. If you are not
receiving legitimate email that is being filter out (ie news
letters, tips of the day, etc), please email us (info@msis.net)
the domain names that you want us to place on our "white
list."
Virus Protection:
To provide you with maximum protection against the latest
types of spam and virus attacks, Barracuda Networks also
maintains a powerful operations center,
Barracuda Central. From there, our engineers continuously
monitor the Internet for trends in spam and virus attacks.
Updates to counter these attacks are then automatically
retrieved by your Barracuda Spam Firewall, thus relieving you
of this task. Note: The Barracuda network provides excellent
virus protection, however we strongly recommend that you also
protect your computer by installing a third-party virus
protection software product.
